“Best Cheat” Instagram Competition

This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Please read these terms carefully — by entering, you agree to them. By entering, you’re also giving us permission to share your photos and videos on our channels, like our Instagram; the full details are in section 8.
1. The Promoter
The promoter is Cheat Beauty Pty Ltd (ABN 97 686 684 220) of Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia (“CheatBeauty”, “we”, “us”). Questions? Email info@cheatbeauty.com.
2. Who can enter
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over. Employees of CheatBeauty (and their immediate families) and anyone professionally connected with this competition are not eligible.
3. Competition period
Entries open at 12:00am (AEST) on 26 July 2026 and close at 11:59pm (AEST) on 31 July 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
4. How to enter
- Follow @cheatbeauty on Instagram; and
- Send us a direct message (DM) on Instagram that includes a photo or video of yourself wearing or using your CheatBeauty product, together with your best beauty “cheat” in 25 words or less.
Your entry must be received by direct message within the competition period; the time your DM is received will be used to determine eligibility. Your Instagram profile does not need to be public. You may enter more than once, but each DM entry must include a distinct cheat. No purchase is necessary to enter.
5. How the winner is chosen (skill)
This is a game of skill. Entries will be judged by The CheatBeauty Team on the creativity, wit and originality of the written cheat (within the 25-word limit). The entry judged most creative will win. The judge’s decision is final and reflects a genuine assessment against these criteria — winners are not selected at random. In the event of a tie, the tying entries will be re-judged on originality alone.
6. The prize
One (1) winner will receive The Nude Collection — 3 Lip Duets, valued at over $200 AUD (RRP). The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If the prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
7. Notification & announcement
The winner will be notified by direct message from @cheatbeauty within 5 days of the closing date, and announced on our Instagram. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 10 days of the closing date, we reserve the right to re-judge and select the next most eligible entry.
8. Your content & the rights you grant us
By entering, you warrant that your entry (including any photo or video) is your own original work, that you own or control all rights in it, and that any person appearing in it has consented to appear and to the uses described below.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assign to CheatBeauty all rights, including copyright, in the photos and videos you submit as your entry, effective from the moment of entry. To the extent any such rights do not (or cannot) transfer to us by assignment, you instead grant CheatBeauty an exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, distribute and sub-license your entry (including your Instagram handle) for any purpose, including advertising and marketing, across any current or future media, without further approval, attribution or payment to you.
You also consent, for the purposes of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), to CheatBeauty using your entry in any of the ways above without identifying you as the author and to any changes we make to it (a consent to acts that would otherwise infringe your moral rights).
9. General
- We may disqualify entries that are offensive, unlawful, or don’t meet these terms.
- We may amend these terms or cancel the competition where reasonably necessary, including for reasons outside our control.
- We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
